Position: Head of Finance

Education: Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (CA Finalist or ACCA preferred).

Experience: 3 years Industry experience, 5 years’ experience for graduates Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably as an Finance Executive, or similar position. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Skill; Excellent leadership and project management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Financial acumen and the ability to analyze and interpret data.. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. Familiarity with relevant industry trends and regulations.

Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO in developing, implementing and monitoring the company’s strategic plan. Assist in identifying growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risks. Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including managing their calendar, coordinating meetings, and preparing reports and presentations.
Project Management: Oversee and lead key strategic projects and initiatives. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of professionals, including executive assistants and project managers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture. Financial Analysis: Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. Monitor financial performance and recommend cost-effective strategies. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as clients, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies. Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to inform strategic decisions. Communications: Draft and edit internal and external communications, including press releases, reports, and executive correspondence. Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations, and manage risk assessment and mitigation efforts. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation within the organization.
