Position: Payroll Specialist

Role:

1) Process payroll for employees in the organization/clients

2) Maintain personnel database regarding salaries

3) Manage organization budget and expenses

4) Work directly with clients to achieve organizational goals as required

5) Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system

6) Work with company database programs to process payroll

7) Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense

Qualifications for Payroll Specialist:

1) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred

2) Minimum of 2-3 years experience as Payroll Specialist, preferably in outsourcing/payroll services company

3) Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment

4) Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws

5) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

6) Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications

7) Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
