Job Description:

Seven Seas Matrix Logistics Services LLC is seeking an experienced Customer Service Executive to join our team in Jebel Ali Free Zone. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in the freight forwarding industry, focusing on procuring rates from carriers for both exports and imports.

Responsibilities:

  1. Procure competitive rates from carriers for export and import shipments via sea, air, or road transport.
  2. Coordinate with overseas agents to ensure seamless communication and execution of shipments.
  3. Exceed customer expectations by providing exceptional shipping services and promptly addressing any concerns or queries.
  4. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure that clients receive optimum services at all times.
  5. Utilize knowledge of 3PL warehousing to assist clients with related inquiries and services.
  6. Navigate and operate freight forwarding and WMS software proficiently.
  7. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance proficiency with WMS software and stay updated on industry trends.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in English, both verbally and in writing.
  9. Utilize knowledge of Arabic or additional languages as an advantage in client communication.
  10. Demonstrate the ability to work independently while efficiently managing pricing and operational tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

  1. 3 to 4 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, focusing on procuring rates for export and import shipments.
  2. Proficiency in handling sea, air, or road transport logistics.
  3. Strong customer service skills with a dedication to exceeding customer expectations.
  4. Basic understanding of 3PL warehousing principles.
  5. Familiarity with freight forwarding and WMS software systems.
  6. Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication.
  7. Knowledge of Arabic or proficiency in multiple languages preferred.
  8. Ability to work independently and effectively manage pricing and operational tasks.
  9. Demonstrated ability to adapt and grow within a dynamic organizational environment.
