Position: Assistant Operations Manager
Experience: Min. 5 years of experience from operational management including key areas of inbound and outbound logistics. Understanding of mechanical engineering and operations. Experience related to implementation of ERP systems; especially related to defining requirements and ensuring internal adoption systems and processes. Experience from HSEQ management including regulatory and governmental compliance.
Education: Bachelor degree in relevant field of operations and/or logistics management (Master’s preferred). Fluency in Business English (Additional language skills such as Arabic is a bonus).
Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for the day to day safe and efficient running of the UAE Operational Headquarter facilities and operations
2) Forecast and coordinate required procurement with the Finance and Procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials
3) Plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency including the storage, and stock levels; keeping track of quality, quantity as responsible for overall asset management
4) Responsible for strategic planning and the operational management and execution of logistics; in- and outbound including accurate supply of material and equipment to field sites including the performance of incoming and outgoing inspection on all parts, material and equipment; allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
5) Implement and maintain compliance with policies and procedures for the workplace
6) Responsible for all HSEQ activity, maintaining safe working practices, and ensuring complete compliance with regulations including inspections and improvement initiatives
7) Responsible for ensuring maintenance schedules for equipment including preventive maintenance activities
8) Daily attendance and sickness records have to be kept alongside individual records of what work is carried out and on which projects
9) Responsible for end-to-end traceability including maintaining a database of everything purchased, where each items is delivered, and the work done and by whom
10) Ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate cost-effective way.
Salary: AED 18k – 20k
