Position: Senior Accountant
Location: DIFC, Dubai – UAE

Responsibilities
Review and verify finance-related requests and supporting documents.
Ensure accuracy of financial documents and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Post all transactions into the accounting system in a timely manner.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Provide accurate and timely recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information and budgets.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal control systems.
Assist in implementing new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with financial legal requirements by keeping updated with legislation.
Support management decision-making by preparing budgets, forecasts, and investment analysis.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Auditing.
Minimum 3 years of proven work experience in accounting or a similar role within the region.
Strong understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
