Position:  Accountant

Job Responsibility:  Reconcile banks, cash & other payment portals & ensure accuracy of financial information. Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities including but not limited to: Petty Cash & Cash Management. Accounts Payable. Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets Reconcile with the POS system & ensure accuracy of entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, & annual financial statements. Generate financial reports for management review. analyzing trends, & providing insights. Preparation of budget & forecasts. Monitor budgetary performance & provide variance analysis. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations & prepare necessary tax filings. Work with the external auditors to prepare yearly audit report. Conduct financial analysis to support decision making processes. Identify areas for cost savings & efficiency improvements. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations & standards.
• Implement & enforce internal controls to ensure financial integrity.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant, preferably in a trading or similar industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles & practices. Proficient in accounting software Quick Books & MS Excel. Excellent analytical & problem solving skills. Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. Strong organizational & time management skills. Effective communication & interpersonal skills.
