Position: Site Engineer with Interiors expertise in Fit Out & Project Management

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Oversee the on-site activities for projects, manage construction operations, and ensure that plans and specifications are accurately implemented.
• Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure they align with quality standards and project plans.
• Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of project codes and other regulations.
• Conduct technical analyses and site surveys, review and approve As-Built drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections at the site to maintain standards and identify any issues promptly.
• Manage site activities, including Toolbox Talks, Site setups, Site Safety Inductions, and supervision of subcontractors.
• Update Site Programs, monitor site progress, conduct Risk Assessments, and perform daily HSE checks.
• Provide technical advice, diagnose and resolve technical difficulties, and solve problems.
• Collaborate with clients, the construction team, subcontractors, and other site workforce.
• Maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to build relationships.
• Ensure all work conducted meets regulations and industry standards.
• Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities.
• Complete and maintain detailed records of construction activities, budgets, materials, and any changes made to project plans.
• Assist in tracking project expenditures to help manage costs and avoid budget overruns.
• Ensure works are conducted as per contract drawings and specifications.
• Communicate with the site manager/rest of the site team and assist with the organizing of the site, including materials, forecasting materials/project requirements, and sub-contract management.
